How it's put together
PureCotton is woven cotton, edge to edge. In CottonGrip, the tree rubber backing is sprayed onto the underside as a liquid and fuses into the weave as it dries — a single bonded layer, not two materials glued together, with no glues or adhesives. Edges on both are overlocked with cotton thread, and each mat is inspected before shipping.
Sizing & weight
Standard 68 × 24 in (173 × 61 cm), 7mm thickness. Weight is 2.8 kg — substantial. The mat is designed to anchor the practice, not travel daily. For travel, look at the Yogi Travel 3MM (1.4 kg, packable).
Care over the long run
A cotton mat develops a patina with use — that is intentional. Wipe with a damp cloth and mild soap after each practice; spot-clean with diluted white vinegar for deeper marks. The colour will soften over years. Stored away from direct sunlight, the rubber base holds its grip for a decade or more.

Materials
Cotton canvas top (300gsm) with overlocked cotton edges. CottonGrip adds a tree rubber backing applied as a liquid spray that fuses into the cotton as it dries — no glues, no adhesives. No synthetic foams, no PVC.
Care
PureCotton: machine wash cold, hang dry flat — or wipe with a damp cloth between deeper washes. CottonGrip: vacuum or steam-clean between practices and wipe with a damp cloth for spot cleans. Never tumble dry — always hang flat away from direct sunlight.

Standard shipping is complimentary on every Canadian order over CAD 120. Orders under that threshold are calculated at checkout based on your destination.
Delivery times
Standard delivery within Canada arrives in 5–10 business days from the moment the order is placed.
International orders
International shipping is calculated at checkout based on destination and weight. Duties and taxes are pre-paid where possible to avoid surprises at delivery.
Returns & exchanges
30-day returns
You have 30 days from the date of delivery to return or exchange your order. Sign in to your account or open the order confirmation email to start a return; Canadian returns include a prepaid label.
Free returns within Canada
A prepaid return label is included with every Canadian order — drop the package at any Canada Post location, no charge. International returns are at the customer's expense.
Condition & refunds
Items must be unused and in their original packaging. Refunds are processed within 5–10 business days of receipt, back to the original payment method.

The cotton softens with every wash. The colour you chose is the colour you keep — it develops, it does not fade.
The weave, with use.
Handwoven cotton grows quieter under the hands over time. The texture you feel on day one is not the texture you feel in year two.
